several couples(60, v. healthy) - trip scheduled early oct.
going vienna 9/29 to 10/2; prague 10/2 until morning of 10/6; flying home from frankfort morning of 10/9 - none of the above can be changed - question is where to go 10/6 to 10/9 - was to be kracow but planes now a problem, would have too little time there - any ideas? Something restful would be nice , we would have had seven days of pretty frantic touring. THANKS! Jay

I would suggest going to the Rhine and Mosel area of Germany. It's pretty close to Frankfurt, so that will make catching your flight home that much easier. There is plenty to see in the area, but it's also a great area in which to just sit and relax with a great bottle of wine.

Last yar we had a 5 week tour of eastern europe, and one of our favorite places which we wish we had more time was Cesky Krumlov , about a 2 hour train ride from Prague. Its a gorgeous town, very picturesque, with a winding river that you can raft on through the local towns. We didn't have time to really enjoy the area and would love to go back.

I agree with Rick spend at least the last night on the Rhine in Bacharch.Its only about 90 minutes to the airport.Bacharch is a great place.Check on Letties place.
