Thanks Helpline for our Turkey Villages Tour

Fiercely independent on a dozen or more European trips, comments on this helpline caused us to book our first RS Tour, Turkey Villages. Our guides, Turkish Mine and Edmunds Heidi provided us with a professionally organized and structured tour which was also relaxed and flexible and sensitive to individual needs. Our fellow tourers were fabulous, fun and fascinating. Villages exceeded all our expectation as did Turkey.

Glad you both had a wonderful time! I love touring with the RS company! I always have positive experiences and I think Turkey is next on my list! I'm curious - would you consider another tour now, despite being"fiercely independent?"

George, It's great to hear that you had such a wonderful time on your tour! You've now discovered why so many of us book repeated RS tours (I hope to be able to book my sixth tour next year). I met many of the Guides from Turkey at the Tour Reunion in January. What a fantastic group! Cheers!

Already are considering another tour... our goal is to run out of breath and money at the same moment!

George, that's my ambition too! I also just took the Villages tour, but with a different group and tour leaders. (Oct 12-22) We had Lale and Yaren as guides, both of whom were lovely. And a fantastic group too! I took it after going on the 7 days in Istanbul in the spring- our guide on that tour, Mert (a cracking good guide!) said the villages tour was excellent. He was right. If you're looking for another tour in Turkey, I can recommend the 7 days in Istanbul. We saw so much more than the tourist attractions. The group on that tour was also terrific- in fact several of us are still in touch.
It's a great way for a single person to travel.
