I have a flight out of Istanbul at 6:05 AM so I have to be at the airport pretty early. I am curious if anyone knows if it is difficult to catch a cab to the airport at say around 3:30 or 3:45 in the morning? I have e-mailed my hotel to see if they can arrange one (it's a Best Western) and am hoping for a response, but in the meantime....

Don't worry about a cab. Your hotel will certainly be able to arrange for a cab or a private car to the airport. I assume you're staying in Sultanahmet and leaving from Ataturk airport. You'll be surprised at the number of cabs you'll see at that hour, all picking up people headed for early morning flights out of Istanbul.
