Three of us plan to take the city bus from the Santorini airport into the bus station in Fira. I have read that it is difficult to get the bus at the airport - has anyone had any experience with this?

The bus will be coming from the beach village of Monolithos on the way to Fira. It's not very frequent, but you can see what the current schedule is. As demand increases with the influx of tourists the schedule also becomes more frequent.
You also have the option of taking a taxi or pre-booking a shuttle service.
