Anybody have experience with a rental car company that allowed you to take your Croatian rental car across the border to Bosnia-Herzegovina without fees or problems? We are considering renting a car as we leave Dubrovnik, driving to Mostar (and maybe to Sarajevo) on our way to Split and the rest of Croatia. Just started looking at rental cars, but it looks like policies are vague on the border crossing. Unless it is definitely allowed we will forego the driving til we reach Split, taking the bus to Mostar instead.
If you've rented a car and driven the route we propose, we'd much appreciate your recommendation.

If you rent a car in Croatia and intend to drive through Bosnia-Hercegovina or to Montenegro you do not need a cross-border card.
