I have decided to take the bus to Cesky Krumlov. Has anyone ever purchased tickets in advance from their website? I've visited the site a couple times. It just seems like a dodgy little site.

Used this in 2010 (before they improved it, needed 4 separate transactions for a pair of round-trip tickets!), and no problem. Completely safe to use, and you even get to pick your seat. But call your credit card security or this will be blocked as a foreign transaction.
note the bus stop they use in Prafgue is by the Andel Metro stop (southern entrance). When you get to Cesky Krumlov you can use either stop, they are equidistant from the town square. But the walk in from the 1st stop through the old gate is magnificent.

We also did this in 2010. Buying the tickets online with a ccard was simple and the bus ride was nice (free wifi!). It was easily the best transport value we've ever had in Europe.

I will also add that I find the online-only Megabus (and the like) here in the US a more "dodgy" site, with poor customer service, and the actual product isn't anywhere near as good.

We purchased Student Agency bus tix in person at the main bus station just last month, so this is not about their website. Its a comment to just note where the bus leaves from. Ours left from a metro stop/bus station combo in the southwest part of the city; I believe it was named Andel. Have a great trip.
