We will be touring Europe this June and have a lot of places we are going to visit and see that Rick recommends. One is Lipicia, Slovenia. Has anyone stayed in Lipicia or a nearby town or village?

Guest farm Hudicevec (www.hudicevec.com) worked well for us. The rooms are spotlessly clean, comfortable, private, and large by European standards. There's free internet access, plenty of parking, a big breakfast, and dinner is available, if you want. It seems a bit "busy" on weekends, but on weekdays it was peaceful. You're minutes from a town w/ banking, grocery store, etc., and main highways. For us it worked as a convenient location to explore the karst caves, Piran, and the Istrian peninsula. This only works with a car.
