Our friends traveling with us to Prague the first of May are concerned about Guest House Lida's distance from City Center. I think that the extra effort is worth the price and reviews. Any opinions as to my assumption being correct or incorrect?

Absolutely correct, in my opinion. My husband and I enjoyed staying there with the chance to experience all three transportation forms to the city center (subway, bus, and a downhill walk to river front to catch the tram along the river...although you can walk along the river as well). Best part is enjoying the local neighberhood restaurants as an alternative. And the guys at Lida are the best!!!!!

We stayed at Guest House Lida in Prague last July, it was an easy 5 minute walk down a hill to the tram that runs along the river. A 5-10 minute tram ride will drop you off close to City Center. The owners of Guest House Lida are very helpful and go out of their way to make your experience in Prague wonderful.
