Could anyone recommend a small tour group for a solo travelor? I'm interested in visiting the Greek Islands and Athens. Thank you!

How about http://tours.ricksteves.com/tours/greece-turkey/greece I've been on five RS tours, including four solo trips. They work for me given the free time and the expectation that members may depart from scheduled activities to pursue individual interests.

Andrea, I definitely agree with the previous reply. If your budget and holiday time will allow, the RS Athens & The Heart of Greece tour would be an excellent choice! The tour groups are "small", with a maximum of 28 people. They use full size Coaches, so everyone has lots of room to "stretch out". You'll learn a LOT about Greek culture and history on the tours. When you finish the tour, you could visit a couple of the islands on your own. I did the same thing and went to Naxos and Santorini. I used one of the Greek travel agencies recommended on the excellent Greece Travel website and that worked really well. They arranged all transfers, Ferry tickets, hotels, etc. on the islands. Having Santorini at the end is not only a wonderful way to finish a Greek holiday, but there's also an airport there so it's convenient to get back to Athens or elsewhere (I booked the flight on my own using Aegean Air).
