I am curious how travelers concluding their "Best of Eastern Europe" tours have returned to the states. It looks fairly expensive to fly one-way into Prague and then out of Ljubljana. Has anyone flown a regional airline back to Prague, or taken the train from Bled back to Prague in order to fly round-trip from Prague back to the US?

I flew RT to Amsterdam from Seattle and then bought a second ticket Amsterdam to Prague and Ljubljana to Amsterdam with CzechAir/KLM. My friends flew RT to Prague and bought a ticket for Ljubljana to Prague. We looked at the train, but it was 11.5 hours. Our guide helped arrange transport to the Ljubljana airport. It's a great tour.

I took a train in the reverse sorta....Cesky Krumlov to Bled. There was a train switch in Salzburg. We picked the fastest route available and it was just over 9 hours. The train ride was pleasant and didn't even seem that long.
