Has anyone stayed on Skiathos? How hard is it to do a side trip to Athens? I will be there for one week, and would also like to see Athens as well. Thank you so much!

If you can afford to fly it's easy and fast. If you can only afford to take the ferry/bus combo it'll take you about 6 hours or so to get from Skiathos into Athens.
