Do you know of a SIM card that gives you the instructions in English, that you can buy before leaving the U.S.? We want to be able to use it in Budapest, Prague, Vienna, Salzburg, Munich, and Rothenburg. Our cell phones are quad band and unlocked. On our last, trip, we bought them in Italy but when we ran out of minutes, the instructions to buy more minutes were in Italian.

Have a look at Wizz Saver Sim. Making calls with it is a little strange ( read the calling directions) but they have very good rates especially back to the U.S. You can order and top up the pre paid sim card online. Its all in English, I have used it in all the Countries you mentioned plus several others. Their web site lists the price of calls- just enter the countries. Do a search for wizz saver sim.
