We will be on a cruise ship that will make a brief stopover in Dubrovnik - arrival is around 7:00 AM, and the ship leaves port at 2:00 PM. We know there is much to do and see in this city, but obviously we cannot do it all. We would love to see as much as we can, and would like to stick with public transportation.
Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Thank you.

Your ship may dock at the port. Ours did and the cruise line had a shuttle bus set up to go into the city. If your ship anchors offshore and you go in on a tender, you will be right in the heart of the city. With your time constraints consider walking the walls around the old town and then having an early lunch. You might be able to fit in a trip up the mountain on the cable car. If your ship goes to Kotor Montenegro, send me a pm and I'll pass on info about an experience we had but could do without. TC
