shoes for central anatolia

We're going to Hittite and other archeological sites the first week of June, some without designated walking paths. I have multiple sprained ankles and broken foot and sometimes wear ankle braces on rough terrain. What type of shoes should I wear with an ankle braces, trail runners, light hikers, Teva sandals, something else? Or is the walking easy enough that I won't need ankle support?

Without knowing the extent of your injuries or exactly where you are going its going to be tough for anyone to make a suggestion. However, I've typically used light hiking boots. Depending on how much exploring you like to do, there can be a fair amount of climbing over uneven terrain at some sites. Hikers tend to provide good traction and some ankle support. Good luck.
