Scenic Train Rides in Eastern Europe?

After traveling by train from Berlin to Prague all along the Oder River in 2006,(which I enjoyed) I am inquiring as to how scenic are day rides from Ljubljana to Budapest, 9-10hrs; Budapest to Krakow, 9 to 10 hrs; and Krakow to Prague, 7 to 8 hrs. I understand the second and third routes offer overnight options. Trying to decide whether airlines would be less exhausting if there is "nothing to miss" in scenery here. I appreciate your suggestions.

The scenery from Krakow to Prague is pleasant, if not stunning.

Poland is very flat and mundane, like Kansas or Oklahoma. until you get far to the south. There, the Tatra range arises and THERE is the lovely scenery. Thid is along the way to Slovakia.

Along the Krakow-Prague route, you can see the mountains on a clear day. There not the Alps, but still scenic. Some of the small towns along the way are also quite charming... some, less so...

We did Ljub to Budapest this past July--a long, hot, and not all that scenic ride (rolling hills, fields, etc). Mind you, my opinion is probably slanted because of the unbearably hot conditions on an unairconditioned train! This train was not at all like other trains we've taken in Great Britain or Western Europe.
