If you have only one day to spend on one of these islands, which would you choose? We just want to get a feel for a Greek island, but without going to some over-developed tourist trap. Something with charm and a nice beach (if it's warm enough to swim in early May). We were thinking Aegina, as it's closest to Athens and can be done easily as a day trip. I think Hydra and Spetses are doable from Nafplion, but we'd have to drive from there down the peninsula to the ferry port. Thanks for any input.
