Can anyone describe what Santorini might be like during the first week of October.

Sunny but windy days, chilly nights. Some high clouds. No rain but dampness in the early morning. Great sunsets.

We were in Santorini last October, and it was very nice. No rain and a comfortable temperature (75 I think). It was a great time to go, because the tourist season was almost over (for our B&B, it was her last week before leaving the island for the winter). One bad thing is the activities are a bit limited because it's later in the year.
One note, we took ferries over from the mainland, and it was a horrible experience - cancellations, etc. The fast ferries are cancelled at the drop of a hat and the slow ferries are SLOW! Fly if you can.
Santorini is one of my favorite places!
