My husband and I will be in Santorini for 4 days in April. We were wondering if anyone had taken the mule ride from the ferries to town. We are staying at the El Greco Hotel and wanted some great recommendations for dinner. (price is open)

The donkeys are overworked and abused by their handlers. Pleae read this and PLEASE don't ride them!

The cable car is very nice- real fast and lovely views of the caldera. I would avoid walking down the donkey trail- it is VERY slippery and the animals are constantly getting in the way!
