safety for woman traveling alone in Lithuania

I traveled to Lithuania in the summer of 2000, when I was 18.

My experience was a bit different, as I was traveling with three Lithuanians. But there was never a time when I felt unsafe or felt like we were in dangerous or uncomfortable situations. and I think you'll be fine, as long as you pay attention to your surroundings and just be street smart--like you would traveling anywhere.

You'll really enjoy Lithuania. It was such a unique experience, and really beautiful.

Lithuania is very low key, like Prauge without the hoardes of tourists and souvenir stores. The Brits visiting on stag parties are probably the only groups you need avoid.
