We are going to finish our tour of the golden ring around 8pm, and then we will be dropped off at the Moscow train station. As we are not very excited to spend time there and will have our luggage with us, we were looking at taking the 062 train to Saint Petersburg leaving at 21:00, arriving St Pb at 6:45 (9 hour 45 minute trip). I like the idea of having time to relax and hopefully get a full nights sleep, but I don't know if this is a good train to take. We do not want to wait until midnight for the popular Red Arrow train. The other option is to take the 064 Train (Two Capitals) leaving at 22:10, or 026 Train (Smena) leaving at 23:00. With these last two trains, we wouldn't be able to get a full night's sleep (both are a bit over 7.5 hours), but maybe it is a good idea to take one of these trains since they only make 1 stop. Any advice would be greatly appreciated!
