Rome to Dubrovnik

What is the easiest, least expensive way to get from Rome to Dubrovnik? Thanks

Hi Karen, We are going the opposite direction as you: from Dubrovnik to Rome. We found airline tickets fairly cheap on a direct flight. We used europebyair.com per Rick's recommendations. Alternatively, you could take the train to Bari and then the ferry over to Dubrovnik.
