Anyone know of a good reliable private driver in Romania? Not too expensive. Thanks. We need this driver to take us for day trips, no need to be a guide, we can do that ourselves.

You might write Daniel. I have known him for years and sent some of my guests to him. They all had good things to say afterwards. He is Guide and I know you don't want a guide, just a driver. You might be surprised how inexpensive a guide is in Romania. If the guide is out of the question then still contact Daniel and see if will recommend some one. I would trust his opinion. Day trips from where? It's sort of a large country with not exactly the best road and rail system. Not terrible, just not always "direct". Accommodations are very reasonable around the country and Daniel knows some great places. A multi-day road trip in Romania is very interesting and a lot of fun. Its a beautiful country. Have a blast.
