I will be in Romania in November, and I would like to arrange sightseeing or bearviewing. I am having a hard time finds a reliable local tour operator. If anybody has travelled to Romania recently and can recommend a tour operator please let me know.

I went on a half day trip with Peter Suciu whom I got his number from the TI in Sighisoara. He was wonderful, reasonably priced and was very knowledgeable. He runs his own company-Wanderlust Tour. He does tailormade tours and I had him take me to Biertan. The trip cost me 25 euros and included the drive from Sighisoara (met in front of the TI) and the admission. Loved Romania so much and when I was there in May there were hardly any tourists there, so it is nice to see more interest on these boards.

Don't have info on tour guide, but traveled Romania a few years ago on my own with a rental car. It was an easy country to travel in and I loved it. The people were so friendly and it was such an interested country. I am a photographer and was in heaven...loved Transylvania and the beautiful countryside. Also, loved the food...very earthy. Have a great time... I'm jealous.
