Just curious why Steve has not written a book on Greece. Anyone have any ideas ? I'm planning a trip to Greece for 2011, and would be great to see his suggested itinerary.

Dan....I'm curious too. It is a wonderful destination and travel there can be quite reasonable compared to some of the places that he has written about. My reasoning was that this would appeal to his readers. I emailed him directly to ask the question and I received a reply - not sure who wrote it - that he just didn't have the time.
You will not be disappointed with Greece.

i just got his Athens & Peloponnese book in the mail. Between that and my Lonely Planet Greek Islands book, I think I'm pretty well covered. I booked one of his suggested hotels (Attalos). This book does have a suggested itinerary. However, I'm headed to Paros after Athens, so I won't be needing it.

The Rough Guide to the Greek Islands is pretty good and detailed. 7th edition is June 2009
