We will be stoping in Rhodes during a cruise and was trying to decide on excursions. Any advice? is it worth going to Lindos for a few hours?

We stopped in Rhodes on a cruise last year and did the excursion to Lindos with our daughters. We loved hearing the history. We did, however, find others who just took a bus from the port. When we cruise, we take some excursions and some we do on our own. And we have found that at each port, there is always some form of transportation if you wish to just do your own thing. We have found that if we need/want historical info, like in Ephesus, we go with a guided tour.
