We want to rent an apt. for 4 adults in Prague for 4 nights. Have looked at several websites, but any recommendations?

I've stayed in the Slezka apartment on this site, which was fine and reasonably priced. It is not big enough for your purposes but the Sroborova Street apartment looks as though it might do you.

I've also used this agency on a couple of occasions. Again the places I've stayed are too small for you, but I found the agency efficient and helpful.

I used a-prague.com a few years ago. We stayed at apartment zatec which was near the old town square. It was okay. They have a large selection of apartments. Everything went well. We also used their transfer service from the airport to the apartment.
It's up to you, but I think you'd be doing yourself a disservice not to rent an apt. in Prague. They're so much less expensive than hotels that they more than make up for any amenities the hotels offer, such as continenal breakfast. For example, we stayed in this 2br apartment. http://www.escapetoprague.com/king-wenceslas-2.php. It had wood floors, large flat screen lcd tv, new kitchen area and bathroom. Each br even had a separate upper loft with more sleeping space. The whole thing came out to < 40E/pp/day.
