Thinking of going here after spending a day in Athens previously. Anyone have any ideas what else would be good thanks

Liz We often spend a night in Rafina. We use it to get to and from Andros, which we visit regularly. Rafina is a nice enough little town, and has a couple of good restaurants, but is really nothing special. It's a reasonable, and not very interesting, drive and there isn't much at the end. I really wouldn't recommend it. Have you considered Sounio as an alternative? The trip is a bit nicer and the site is excellent. There is also nice swimming from the rocks nearby, which isn't true of Rafina. Elefsis is also nice, and you can do it by local bus from Athens. Alan
