We are arriving Istanbul by cruise ship and would like to have a private tour for the day. Has anyone ever done this and what are the names of some good drivers?

Hi Laraine - We too are getting off a cruise ship and spending sometime in Istanbul. We are using the highly recommended agency Ekol Travel. They have arranged a four day schedule for us I'm very pleased with. You can reach them at www.ekoltravel.com. Good luck.

Check out SRM Travel (www.srmtravel.com). This is the company that Rick contracts with to do his Turkey tours. They are very accustomed to working with Americans and can custom design whatever type of tour you need.
