Private guides for Warsaw and Gdansk?

I agree, Gdansk is small enough to do it yourself. It is absolutely charming any time of the year! It's like a mini-Krakow but with much fewer tourists.

If you decide on a guide, try to talk with him or her before contracting for services. Accents in that area make it very difficult for us to understand. Not understanding your guide will spoil your visit.

I appreciate your imput. Do you think then that I should wait until we get there before I make any arrangements?
