THANKS,LEE. I KNOW WE CAN FLY CRETE/ATHENS/SANTORINI AND BACK, BUT WOULD LIKE TO TAKE FERRY, IF POSSIBLE.
ALSO...CAN YOU GIVE US NAMES OF GOOD GUIDES FOR THE MAINLAND?
THANKS AGAIN.
KATHY
Because March is considered the off-season there might not be a ferry between Crete and Santorini then, but if there is it will only be once or twice a week. I believe that Lane Lines and G.A. Ferries might both run this route in the off-season, or at least one of them will. The highspeed FlyingCat 4 doesn't start operations until sometime in April. It's way too early to know for certain what will be available for March, but if you don't need to finalize your plans until sometime in January you can keep tabs on what's available on your travel dates by going to http://www.gtp.gr to check in periodically until the March timetables are finalized. It will not be necessary to pre-book for this ferry as it won't be anywhere near full.
No, sorry, I can't.
Kathy: Please, can you stop using all caps? On the internet it's equivalent to shouting at us. I tried sending you a Private Message but I guess you didn't see the PM, you have to be signed in and then click My Profile. Thanks!
gee kent i did not mean to offend you i obviously do not know all of the "proper" etiquette since i do not use the computer as a substitute for live conversation i never really knew that i was shouting you are the only person ever offended or bothered enough to feel it necessary to make such a sarcastic remark
Kathy....it wasn't a sarcastic remark at all. Kent has to be the least sarcastic person on this forum. In fact, he was trying to tell you that he had sent you a Personal Message (PM) to let you know about it....but maybe you didn't see it because you don't know where to look for it. In fact, ever since the beginning of the World Wide Web, writing in all caps has been considered a way to express an emotion....in this case, shouting. Don't be so offended by someone trying (rather gently) to correct you.
