Is Prince's Islands worth going to? Is it too touristy?
I like places that feel like authentic local life. If we go, any tips on getting there? which island(s) to go to? Can you easily go from European Ist to islands, then to Asian Istanbul (Kadikoy), then back to European side?

I did the boat trip to the islands, getting off at Heybeliada. The day I went there were very, very few other tourists. I imagine it would be rather different in the summer. There were plenty of horse drawn carriages, and the ride round the island was fairly interesting, as was the boat trip. However, it wasn't my first trip to Istanbul.
