Looking for opinions on the Prague Welcome Card from Rail Europe. Can you get the card in Prague, or must you buy it in advance? Is it a better deal to buy in advance? It doesn't seem to cover Prague Castle, St. Vitus, etc.

Hi Diana, Randall provided the link to the Welcome Card details, and I'd recommend you make a list of sights you wanted to see and add up their entry fees to see if it would be worthwhile for your visit. It looks like a 3-day transportation pass is included, which may not get much use since Prague is a very walkable city. Also, note that it is valid for the day you first "mark" it, and then 3 subsequent days (the transportation bit is only valid for 72 hours after you "mark" it). I guess what I'm trying to say is this card might not be of tremendous value to you, depending on your itinerary.
