We are travelling for 3 weeks and wonder if this is too much on the itinerary? Would you visit Prague, Budapest AND Vienna...are they that different? Budapest seems to be the weak link as it's so hard to connect from. is it worth seeing? Venice may also be a bit difficult. What do you think?

If all you are going to see is those three cities, three weeks will be plenty of time to do it well. I suggest your fly open jaw into Budapest and out of Vienna on return.

I think 3 weeks for all 5 cities is enough time, but if I were to emiminate one of them, it would be Vienna. You can see that city in a quick 2 days if necessary. The other cities are a don't miss, especially Dubrovik and Prague.
