Prague questions - CEDAZ shuttle and map recommendations

Though it used to offer door-to-door service, it appears the CEDAZ airport shuttle now only drops you off in one location (near nám?stí Republiky). Anyone with recent experience with this service? Good/bad/ugly? My hotel is on Retezová, by my guesstimate, it looks like an ok walk (it will be noon-ish). I'm not interested in taking the public bus, but also debating one of the private shuttle companies. I am aware of the bad taxi situation, so not much interest in that either. Second, since I'm considering hoofing it, I'd like to take a decent map with good details but not gigantic in size. Any suggestions? I'm fond of the pop-out-maps by Compass but wonder if they're detailed enough. thanks for suggestions!

You can't beat the Borch series, they have one for Prague. Although it is roadmap size you can easily refold it, it's made of Tyvek. Available at Amazon, if you've a Barnes and Noble they carry them.
I am guessing you are coming from the airport. The 119 bus is quick and reliable, 20 minutes stop is at the terminal exit, and you switch to the Metro for 3 stops to Staromestska for a 1/4 mile walk (o one more stop to Mustek for a couple hundred feet longer) for 26 ck. You can't go wrong.

Hi CL,
Yes, we used Cedaz last month. The pick-up spot was right in front of the airport terminal in a convenient spot. Fortunately for us, we stayed at the Hilton which is literally right in front of the -off point. I don't believe it goes anywhere else in the city. To be even more specific about the location, it stops on V Celnici (which dead ends at Namesty Republiky). It was about $7.00/each which was a great value. It was about a 20 minute ride in.The driver only takes cash. There's a few ATMs in the terminal. It was an air-conditioned mini-bus and was very comfortable. Let mek now if you need more info!
