I am traveling to Prague on the Sept 30 to Oct 6 th tour. I am 23 and in desperate need of a European trip to figure out my next move. I am going alone. Most of my friends didnt have the money nor vacation time to pick up and go. I was wondering if anyone here was attending the same trip?

We visited Prague in last Sept two years ago. It was beautiful, less crowded and a pleasant experience.

My wife and I are going the 3rd week of October, and I was very surprised to find that this was the "High Season" in Prague...topped only by holidays like Christmas and New Years. I was expecting to find some decently priced hotels, but now I see the decent prices don't start until November 1. But you say the crowds were less in September; I wonder if there's something going on in October that drives up the prices...maybe Octoberfest? Does anyone have concrete information?
