Prague hostels for travelers "of a certain age"

I'll be in Prague in April for two nights, maybe three. I'm considerably older (late 60s) than many of the folks whose reviews I read on hostels.com, hostelworld.com, and elsewhere. Those reviews are always helpful, even if they don't all come from travelers with exactly my "old fart" mindset, and I mean NO offense whatsoever when I say that! I will continue to do my homework online, looking for hostels convenient to the Rudolfinum, where I have a ticket for the Czech Phil doing my two favorite Dvorak symphonies all in one concert! But I'd also love to hear from others, especially closer to my age, who have found good hostels in Prague. I'm not particularly interested in "party hostels", but I am aware that that is often part of the attraction of this kind of lodging, and I'm not opposed to it. Thx in advance (and don't be offended if it takes me days to respond; I'm headed out of town and will only have sporadic email for the next three weeks at least)

Tom, I'd suggest having a look at The HI Hostels website. Having an inexpensive Membership will provide slightly cheaper rates and preferred booking. They appear to have four properties in Prague, so you could choose the one that's closest to the Rudolfinum. I'm also in the same "age range" and have stayed at HI Hostels in various locations. At one Hostel in England that I stayed at, one of the guests was over 70! You could also consider an inexpensive, basic B&B. Have a look at This Pension for one example. It's located within an easy walk from the Charles Bridge. I stayed there in September, and would highly recommend it. The staff were wonderful! Incidentally, I was at the Rudolfinum on several occasions, and got several photos of the outside. However, I didn't attend any performances there. As I recall, it's across from the old Jewish Cemetery. Happy travels!

Look, you guys, I'm olderfart than you and we try to find Ibis hotels is we can. You'll have to Google the Ibis Hotel site. We also don't worry about the "certain age" stuff. You are only as stodgy as you wish to be. You are as young as you wish you were.

Monte, "You are as young as you wish you were." I agree that a positive attitude is important, but unfortunately "wishing" doesn't seem to be working so far in alleviating my back problems! Hopefully I'll be able to find some answers before my trip this year. Cheers!
