We will be staying in an apartment in Old Town, Prague for several days. Then we plan to rent a car and explore Kutna Hora, Telc, Cesky Krumlov, and then drive back to the airport. We will be "on the road" for about 8 days. What car rental suggestions do you have and/or experienced.
Should we pick up the car at the airport or try to pick it up in town? Thanks much

Take your car at your hotel to avoid the airport fees. You can return it at the airport and fly out.
As for the best rental agency, I always get on the web and search all the agencies for rates for several days until I find the lowest.
In 20 years of renting cars I have found them all about equal in service. It is the rental rate that influences me.
I always rent a compact or economy size because the agencies don't have enough models and are often forced to upgrade you in size free.
