Prague Budapest Bratislava Krakow Train Tickets

I have 1 week in Eastern Europe and have the following itinerary:

Thur-Fri in Prague
Fri Night Train to Budapest
Sat-Sun in Budapest
Monday early train to Bratislava
Spend the day in Bratislava
Mon Night train to Krakow
Tue-Thur in Krakow

  1. I will need to purchase 3 train tickets, can I purchase them all at once in Prague, or would I need to purchase in each city before I travel?

  2. Can any of these train journeys be purchased online?

  3. What is the cheapest way to buy the tickets?

  4. Do you think I should skip the day in Bratislava and spend it in Krakow or Hungary instead? It'd be a shame not to be able to cross Slovakia off the list! ;-)

Personally I would skip Krakow this time. Prague, Bratislava and Budapest are on train line and Krakow is quite away. If you don't mind rushing it then Krakow is certainly worth seeing. I don't know if you can buy tickets on line. I would wait and buy them in Prague Main Train Station at International Ticket Office. In Czech Mezinarodni pokladna. They speak English.
