Hi! I am going to be in Prague March 14-18 and besides the obvious tourist attractions of the city, does anyone know of any good pubs/breweries for Czech beer? Let me know!
You might like to have a look at U Medvidku
My favourite pub in Prague is U Sadu, but it's a little out of the historic centre. You need to go to Jiriho z Podebrad metro station, but the area round about is nice to wander
There are also 3 (I think) Kolkovna bars run by Pilsner Urquell. My favourite is the original one opposite the Spanish Synagogue but details of all 3 are here

Have fun. I'll be back in Prague myself in May, and will visit all of the above (and more!)

Thanks for the tip on Cesky Krumlov and for the link. We're planning a couple of days out of Prague when I'm next in the Czech Republic, and seeing this Cesky Krumlov has gone to the top of my list.
Thanks again
Alan
Great! Thanks so much!
With so much time be sure to try Gambrinus (our favorite), Velkopopovicky Kozel, and Bohemia Regent. Enjoy!
What about to try real Budweiser from Budweis (German name for Ceske Budejovice). It is on the way to Cesky Krumlov. Prague most famous breweries: Staropramen from Smichov and then Branik beer. Pub U Fleku brews its own beer as many others.
