Prague apartments

We are planning a trip to Prague around Easter 2012 and looking for an apartment that will sleep 6 people, I guess 3 bedrooms. Does anyone have an ideas? We have used Lateroom.com for Edinburgh and another time for Amsterdam with good success but can't find anything for Prague. Also, is this a good time to go, over Easter? Thanks.

Gail We've used these people and always been happy with the results. I can't recommend a specific apartment as we have never needed anywhere so big. http://prague-stay.com/accommodation/ Easter falls in early April so it can still be quite chilly in Prague. You need to take warm clothes, but you can also get really nice bright days. It's less busy than later in the year, although Prague is never really quiet nowadays. Cheers Alan

Hi Gail, I was in Prague last October and stayed at the Capitol Apartments http://www.capitalapartmentsprague.com/apartment/capital/ It is right in the middle of Wenceslas Square, beside a Starbucks and Marks and Spencer. 10 minute walk to Old Town and a metro stop about 50 metres away. Although the lobby is a bit dingy, the place was great for my stay. Check them out. Feel free to contact me for more info.

Thanks for advice, we are just starting planning but anything else you can tell us would be appreciated, such as where to eat, what to miss and what not to bother with. I assume we will be arriving by train as airline we are flying on (we have buddy passes) does not fly into this country so we are just now looking up what would be the nearest city we can fly into and then take the train. Is the train station near the center of the city?

We stayed at Liliova Appartement. Exactly what you are looking for. The appartment is very close to Charles bridge, very well located. We really enjoyed it and would go back there in a heart beat!
