Prague and Vienna

We are planning to take a trip to Prague and Vienna this summer. Still in the planning stages and wonder if anyone has accomocation and sight-seeing suggestions which would appeal to our 11 year old son. Any insight into soccer matches or teams in the area?

Inside the main Prague municipal library building, they've created a tower of books stacked in a circular tower. On the floor and ceiling they've installed mirrors which reflect each other and make the inside of the tower look infinitely long.
You climb inside and it looks like you're in the middle of this deep hole of books. It's actually pretty cool. Here's a picture: http://www.flickr.com/photos/perryolf/3414443266/

My boys have been to Vienna 3 times; here's their top 5 list: 1. Climb Stephansdom. 2. Ride the "Riesenrad" giant ferris wheel at the Prater, followed by several rounds of bumper cars. 3. Donau Insel beaches, rental bikes, roller blades, etc.
4. Schonbrunn, especially the "experiential playground" and labyrinth in the garden. Weird installations for kids and grownups to experience. And the apple strudel show at the court bakery. 5. The Opera Toilet in the Stephansplatz Ubahn station. (Google it. You'll see.) AND, our latest, greatest find is the proliferation of high ropes courses all over central Europe. We just got back from Germany and my teens did 3 of them. Here is one in Prague, but I'm sure there are more in the area. http://www.easyprague.cz/en/sightseeing-and-entertainment/fun-and-sports/ropes-course-centre/#booking-form I would advise doing this towards the end of the trip or your son may beg to do nothing else (ha ha!). My 12 y/o has declared them the coolest thing on earth. They are insanely fun and addictive. I even managed my way through an entire course. What a workout!
