plug and outlet in Istanbul

I have a blowdryer and a curling iron that I bought in Italy and France. They have the same plugs. My question is will they work in Istanbul. I do not want to buy an adapter, for everyone else it works, for me I never have any sucess and I either destroy my blowdryer or it does not work at all.
I know it does not make sense, but it has happened so much that I just bought a blowdryer and curling iron in Paris and Florence. Makes life easier. So will they work in Istanbul. Does Turkey have the same plugs and outlets as Europe. ( I know the UK is not part of Europe and not asking about the UK) Thank you.
