planes, trains or auto from Vienna to Sarajevo

I will be flying in and out of Vienna the end of April '08. I will then be making my way to my daughter in Sarajevo, Bosnia. Any suggestions for modes of transportation to get to Sarajevo and then back to Vienna? Flights seem expensive, any suggestions for cheaper way to fly? thanks
