Hi, I'm looking for recommendations of places to stay on the beach in Crete. We are not looking for nightlife, a small pleasant village, but would love something super close to the beach, with a pool and a/c!

Check in Matala Bay, Agia Galini and west of Chania Town. www.booking.com will help you filter out what you can't afford.

Thanks for the help, have been looking on booking.com, still seems like the choices are huge! I!ll use your suggestions to try and filter it down some.
