Hello, I just wanted to find out people's opinion on gettting from the Piraeus ferry terminal to the Athens airport. We will be arriving at the ferry terminal at 4:30PM and we then want to catch a flight at the airport at 6:25pm. Is this cutting it too close? How long does it take to get from one to the next?

There's an express bus, X96 from Piraeus to the Airport for 3.2 euro. It leaves approximately every half hour, 24/7. At that time of the day because of rush hour traffic there will be lots of traffic and you might not make it for the 6:25 flight. Another option would be the Green Line train from the Piraeus Metro Station to the Neratziotissa Station where you can catch the Suburban Railway train the rest of the way to the airport.

That is probably too tight, especially since the Metro link to the Airport is currently down, or at least was. Basically, you would catch the metro to either Symtagma to catch a bus (Probably two hours total right there) or to a suburban rail stop, again 1.5 to two hours total. Even a Taxi would be well over an hour, and then you need to get checked in and through security.
