I am traveling with my family to Poland in September. As part of the trip, we would like to visit the town where some of our relatives are born, which is about 50 miles outside of Warsaw. Does anyone know of a personal tourguide in the Warsaw area that would be able to help us with this? I'm having a hard time finding a tour guide that is willing to travel outside of the city.

Hi Christine, I have never been to Poland but I'm planning on doing an ancestry type trip in the next year or two. There is a website called PolishOrigins.com. This is a great and extremely helpful community that assists in finding your Polish heritage in the old country. They have Forefather tours with experienced guides that can navigate the country with you and help you find your roots. I know there is a very reasonable hourly rate for their services and I've heard great things from other people who have planned a trip with them. Good luck
