Pension Platan-Prague

We are trying to figure out where to stay in Prague fro 4 nights July 11-15. Any input on Platan or other accomodations? The choices are overwhelming. Lower price is better, obviously, but prefer to be near center, 1, as we like to walk to as much as possible. Thanks

I am hoping that pension is OK as we are booked to stay there Aug 5-8. It got a couple favorable reviews on that tripadvisor site. Let me know!!

There is a Hotel Booking service (if need be, i can look up their name) in both the Prag main rr station and in the airport. It has one and two star (and the"higher-rated" ones) hotels for much Lower prices than what the tour-books have !!!!

Pension Corto has 2 locations with one being a block from the Old Town Square. On tripadvisor there is a review for the Pension Corto II which is the "other" location across the Charles Bridge toward the castle.

We are booked at the Old Town location for October. Their website is http://www.corto.cz/en/article.asp?article_id=11&lang_id=2

I was curious about the Pension Platan also, but chose the Pension Corto because it was a little closer to the old town.
