Parnu day trip?

If flights are on time, I will have 2.5 days and three nights in Tallinn. Will this be too much? Should I drop a day and travel to Parnu, stay there, and then head on to Riga from there? Anyone been to Parnu and have any thoughts on it (we will be in Estonia in May)? Thanks
