We are traveling in Hungary for 4 days in very late August and would like to see Paprika growing. I understand that there is a paprika museum in Kalocsa, and that Szeged is also an area of paprika, and that we will miss the harvest time festivals which happen iin late September. So any suggestions as to where to see the fields? Where they are picked and stored? Is there an area closer to Budapest to see this, or are they grown only in the far south of the country? Thanks!
