Has anyone had experience going from Ostrava train station to Ostrava airport. need to pick up car at airport after train ride from Krakow to Ostrava.

Go to Ostrava hlavni nadrazi (main train station), get to Ustredni autobusove nadrazi (Central bus station) by public transit or taxi. From there by bus to the airport. Timetable: www.airport-ostrava.cz/en/page-by-bus1/
